Live like a local,

Experience Kona.

Hawaiian Cloud Forest home on 3 acres – above Kailua Kona

Kona Mountain Home is a destination for family vacations, getaways for couples, business trips and friend reunions. My cloud forest, plantation style home sits on the slopes of Hualalai at 2600 feet elevation. Cool off on the lanai after a fun filled day at the beach. Live Aloha in beautiful Kaloko.

Why Choose Kona Mountain Home?

My home’s open floor plan is perfect for visiting with friends and family while also giving plenty of space for each person to find their comfortable place. The living room, kitchen, and master bedroom all open up to the large lanai that overlooks the wooded slopes of Hualalai down to the Kona Coast. Sunsets each evening will each be unique and a suiting end to another perfect day in Kona.

The perfect place to make memories of a lifetime.

My hope is each guest at my home leaves with memories of a lifetime. Experiences and time well spent is a good simple life – and my home gives you the ability to slow down and take in the Aloha vibe. Lanai living is Kona living. Guests enjoy reading, playing instruments, listening to music, remote working, and talking story on Kona Mountain Home’s lanai. You can even glance down at the coast and determine if the surf is good for snorkeling, wave riding or watching! What will your memories be?

“I was blessed to enjoy Kona like a local from my very first visit in 1992. Friends gave me a place to stay and essentials for enjoying the beaches and hiking trails. My goal in sharing Kona Mountain Home with you is to pass forward the Aloha that was gifted to me so many years ago.”
